Mr. Fish & Chips is a place where you can get a quick fix of fish and chips, or just a relaxed meal with your family. A relaxed and homely concept, they serve many dishes besides fish and chips.
Starting off with their Battered Fish & Chips, I really liked the crispy batter on the fish but wished it was more seasoned. They do provide Heinz Malt Vinegar to lightly drizzle on your battered fish, which gave it a unique taste. Also, nothing can go wrong with thick cut fries.Price: $9.90

Other fish mains they serve was the Pan-Fried Barramundi (Black Cod) which the chef told us was freshly brought in the morning itself! It was cooked to flaky perfection and was easily the best dish out of all (even better than the fish and chips I must say). The penne spaghetti at the side was slightly underwhelming and the least favourite, so I would recommend the chips or mash as a side instead.

If you don’t know where to find really good, heart-warming stews, Mr. Fish & Chips actually serve one of the best-tasting stews I’ve had. The Beef Stew had generous chunks of beef that were so tenderised and stewed so well. Pair the savoury tomato-based stew with rice or bread, it was such a comforting dish.Price: $14.90

Another interesting stew was their Lamb Shank Stew. It was the priciest item on the menu but don’t turn away from this dish – just look at the size of that lamb! A bed of mash potatoes rest underneath the huge, juicy lamb.Price: $18
