We came to JB for a staycation and decided to stay in KSL because it was so conveniently located next to KSL Shopping Mall! It was a RM5 Grab from the checkpoint which made it super convenient to get to.

I was honestly not expecting much because it was only $81.25/per night for the Superior King room which I booked on Agoda (no breakfast included). However, I was surprised at how clean and modern the room was. The bed was actually super big and comfortable.

The view we had was pretty nice. Sunset called for a really good photo op.

There was a TV, coffee and tea table, and a fridge and all of them were fully functional.

Overall, we would definitely come back to stay again! It was SO convenient. We could catch late movies at the shopping mall and have breakfast, lunch and dinner all at the mall too because they had so many varieties. We could even go to the supermarket and drop off the stuff we need at the hotel first so we didn’t have to carry it around. There are even massage places nearby and in the shopping mall if you need to relax. Really recommend for you to stay here if you’re planning to come to JB for a short staycation too!
