Beeotic: Capilano’s 100% Australian Prebiotic Honey

As a kid, I grew up eating Capilano’s Pure Australian Classic Honey, the one that came in that yellow squeeze bottle and jar. Imagine how excited I was when I found out that Capilano launched a new series of honey, Beeotic! Beeotic contains naturally occurring prebiotics and a 100% pure Australian honey. Luckily for us, Singapore is the first Southeast Asia country to have Beeotic available to us.

Did you know that our body has 10 times more bacteria than our body cells? This statement was enough to strike something in me.

What are the benefits of Beeotic?

  1. Provides a natural source of prebiotics.
Prebiotics are natural, non-digestible fibres that stimulate the growth or activity of advantageous bacteria.
  2. Improves the good-to-bad bacteria ratio in your body, improving your digestive system.
Consuming Beeotic will help good bacteria in your gut grow as the carbohydrates ‘feed’ these bacteria, and also suppresses potentially harmful bacteria in the digestive tract.
  3. Not only is it good for your health, but it tastes really good too.
Usually, anything that is good for our health tastes really bad. For example, I don’t particularly like the taste of chicken essence or luo han guo. However, I will gladly eat this every day, no complaints, as it tastes just like normal honey!
  4. Free of additives, preservatives, artificial colours and flavours, refined sugars and gluten.
It’s just 100% natural Australian Honey.

The recommended intake of Beeotic is 14ml a day, which is about one tablespoon. There are so many ways to consume Beeotic. Besides eating it pure, you can have it with water or tea, and we even had it in chicken wings which tasted so good.

Prices of the honey are as follows:
340g squeeze bottle: $16.80
500g jar: $22
