Even at night, this place is pretty hard to miss with its neon banners and bright lights inside the shop. We were recommended to visit Oddies Foodies by a friend and so we decided to have our first ever egglets here.
They have seating areas inside the shop itself so that you can enjoy your egglets in the comfort of an air-conditioned place.
We were spoilt for choice with 4 Signature Egglette Parfaits on the menu (see meny below) and you could even order your own egglet flavours like Red Velvet, Chinese Sausage and Ham & Cheese!
Seeing that it was their signature, we went for the Kido Parfait (also because we love Nutella and cookies and cream). We dived straight in for the Italian low-fat milk gelato on top and ate it with the Nutella Custard Egglete, and wow was it good. Almost like Llao Llao’s famous ‘Sanum’, this cup had plain gelato at the bottom, followed by fillings on top like cookie dough chunks, caramelised croutons, a whole lot of Nutella, plus a scoop of Artisan Cookies & Cream Gelato, and then finished with another swirl of plain gelato. Just that this had an entire egglet inserted at the side too, so you can imagine how filling it was. Also, we got the small sized cup. If you’ve a sweet tooth, this is probably the parfait for you.
Price: HK$68/SG$12.40 (S); HK$88/ SG$16 (L)
If you simply love their Artisan Gelatos, you can come back and order from their 12 flavours. They also serve their low-fat soft serves in a cone. However, their prices are a little steep – one scoop of gelato is HK$48/ SG$7.80 and a scoop of soft serve is HK$35/ SG$6.40 (see menu below).
